About The Course
An artisan is someone who does skilled work with their hands. Artisan breadmaking has come to mean making speciality breads with high quality ingredients in a traditional way. We cover the methods and science behind breadmaking and create some more unusual and interesting loaves such as: ciabatta (using a sourdough starter); potato and rosemary bread; stromboli (bread roulade with delicious filling); pumpernickel; challah (an enriched dough) (please note these are examples and the actual course content may vary).
