I just wanted to say what a great time I had last Friday evening. I have never been to a singles event before and went more for the cooking than the company. Having said that I met some really nice people and had a great time. The mix of people made the evening very relaxed and the time flew by. Letting everyone have a go at making things got us all chatting comfortably in no time at all.

The facilities at Newlyns Cookery School are very impressive and Bridget was brilliant at cooking and keeping the evening in order. I understand that she is excellent with children's classes which made her the perfect hostess for a group of singles. Bridget gave lots of great cookery tips that I will be putting into practice, her food was delicious and just enough to compliment the wine. The evening was also great value.

I would definitely recommend this to my friends and look forward to attending another course or demonstration in the future. My attached friends are already envious.

Many thanks.

Newlyns has everything a farm shop should have and a lot more. They sell award winning sausages that are out of this world and do special seasonal ones like pumpkin for Halloween that are fantastic, not to mention the cooked pies and pork pies. They have a vast selection of fresh meats with great BBQ additions like kebabs, stuffed chicken breasts and other marinated meats.

This year they have opened up on site their own cookery school that does day courses (even for children!)

I have chosen Newlyns as they are friendly, helpful and it is nice that we now know each other so well we say hello by name (nowadays that is so rare).

Delicious foodie treats! Sausages are yummy, the free range chicken actually tases like chicken, and for when you want a dinner party cheat then the desserts are handmade and delicious, especially the respberry roulade! I'm just about to try out their new cookery school too!

This place is fantastic!! I do all our meat and dairy shopping here. It is a little bit more expensive than going to a supermarket, but it's definately worth it because the meat tastes so much better!

The Men had a great time and this is a belated note to thank and praise everyone who planned and ran the cookery course for Men last Saturday. Matt made a simple fare interesting and even someone taught a little by his Victorian Grandmother, like myself, l learned quite a few tips and the atmosphere and facilities were perfect.

I hope that the group can form a 'founders' club and that there will be future similar events.

Thanks again

I would just like to say what a delightful morning my friend Mrs Haig and I spent at your Cookery School last Friday morning. We had so much fun and gained some very interesting ideas for 'Canapes & Frivolities', not to mention the delicious buffet lunch at the end. Thank you.

Although the Cookery School is in its infancy, the professionalism of Sarah Garwood supported by Bridget Stewart made for a very happy and positive occasion. You can be sure that I will be following your programme of events with great interest and recommending your Courses to family and friends as a delightful and educational use of time.

With very best wishes for your continued success.
