Beef and Black Bean Stir-fry
Suitable Cuts: Sirloin, rump, topside or any
thinly cut steaks recommended for grilling or frying.
Serves: 2
Cooking Time: 6 - 8 mins
Ingredients
225g (8oz) lean beef steaks, cut into thin slices/strips
5ml (1tsp) oil
1/2 aubergine, cut in half and sliced thinly
1 red onion sliced thinly
1 stick celery, sliced
1 clove garlic, crushed
200g jar ready prepared black bean sauce (approximately)
5ml (1tsp) sesame oil
Method
Heat the oil in a large non-stick wok or saucepan, fry the meat
until browned. Add the vegetables and garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Stir in the sauce and sesame oil, and cook for 1 minute.
Serving Suggestion
Serve with basmati rice and additional stir-fry vegetables.
